# EMC Public Testnet Mining Rules

Users use real physical equipment to participate in mining on the EMC test network. The EMC test network supports two physical equipment mining modes: **CPU Mining and GPU Mining**. 

## **CPU Worker Mining** 

Users connect local devices for CPU computing power mining to obtain EMC test tokens, which requires EMC test tokens as gas. 

### **CPU Mining Rules**

* Users configure their local equipment according to official documents. The longer their equipment is online, the higher the mining success rate and income will be;
* After each successful mining session, only the EMC testnet network transaction fee is required; no additional EMC test tokens are consumed.
* After each successful mining session, the user can receive a reward of 0.5 EMC test tokens;
* The daily limit for claiming EMC test tokens is 5000, on a first-come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted.

## **GPU Worker Mining**

Users connect their local devices to mine GPU computing power and earn EMCP. This process requires the consumption of  EMC test tokens as gas.

### **GPU Mining Rules**

* Users need to pay 0.25 EMC test tokens as consumption for each mining;
* After each successful mining, the user can earn 1 EMCP as a reward (The reward is dynamic and is based on actual output);
* The efficiency of GPU mining depends on the user's GPU performance and algorithm optimization.
